By RSNC Staff
The 2026-2027 State Finals season is underway. Oregon/Washington/Idaho kicked things off Oct. 23-25, and more than 20 State Finals are set to follow through February. Here's what's on the line this year and how to see where you stand.
This Year's Top 5 Saddle States
The five states with the most Cinch RSNC-sanctioned events this season are Texas, California, Arizona, Colorado and Florida.
At each of these five State Finals, the first-place finishers in the Rookie, Novice and Amateur divisions will each win an RSNC trophy saddle.
State Finals Prizes
Sorters who finish at the top of their division's standings will take home:
- 1st: Buckle & Cinch Jacket
- 2nd: Professional's Choice Trophy Stirrups
- 3rd: Professional's Choice Trophy Spurs
- 4th: Professional's Choice Headstall
- 5th: Professional's Choice Turnout Halter
How States Qualify
A state needs at least five Cinch RSNC-sanctioned events in a calendar year to host a State Finals. States with 10 or more events award prizes to the top five in each division: Masters, Open, Amateur, Novice, Rookie and Youth. States with five to nine events award a first-place prize in each division.
